I tried to make compiling EditAide as simple as possible. PLEASE follow these two steps... Step 1) Copy the latest RC.exe into the EditAide folder. (if you do not have it... get it from JohnK's website "http://rapidq.phatcode.net/"} Step 2) Run the MakeEditAide.bat (ALWAYS use this .bat file when compiling EditAide) (if you try to compile in an editor... you will get all kinds of errors) (if you do need to compile in an editor... you'll have to add/modify the location of several files) If everything went ok... the executable EditAide.exe will be created in the EditAide folder. (along with two other executables that are used by EditAide for running bytecode source code) (both of these bytecode launchers can be used as standalone applications but only with a parameter) (and the parameter is the name of the path\bytecode file) (The EditAide executable MUST reside in the EditAide folder, in order to function properly) If you run into any problem with EditAide... post a message on the Yahoo RapidQ Group.
